Therapy in Austin, Texas

I practice at Polaris Therapy, LLC in Austin, under the clinical supervision of Andy Davis, LCSW-S.

Sessions happen by video, which in practice means you do not lose an hour to traffic on MoPac to get forty-five minutes of help. Clients join from a home office, a parked car outside school pickup, a bedroom with the door shut. That is a perfectly good place to do this work.

Because sessions are by video, you do not need to be in Austin. You need to be in Texas — Houston, El Paso, the Valley, a small town two hours from the nearest practice. Texas licensure is what draws the line, not the distance from my office.
