For moms who are doing it all

I work with moms who are doing it all but are starting to wonder how long they can possibly keep this up.

You’re on it at work, you’re the family’s rock, and if there’s a problem, you’ll do the research and figure out the solution. You're a good parent and a good employee — but it's harder than it looks, and you're not sure how long you can keep this up.

Who this work is a good fit for

Maybe you're in the early months of parenting, overwhelmed with love one moment and crying in the shower the next. Maybe you're well past the newborn stage but still feel like you're barely holding on — yelling at your kid to hurry up, then spending the whole drive to daycare berating yourself for it.

What tends to bring you here:

  • Anxiety that started around your child's birth and never fully turned off.
  • You expected joy, and what arrived was numbness, or sadness, or nothing much at all.
  • Forty-three tasks done before eight in the morning, and the day has not started.
  • You snapped again, and you are already going over it in your head.
  • You've stopped looking in the mirror altogether, or you only glance when it's absolutely necessary.

Therapy with me isn’t about achieving some perfect, stress-free version of your life. It’s about giving you real tools, more capacity, and more moments of connection with the people who matter to you.

When this may not be the right fit

Texas licensure covers clients who are physically in Texas at the time of a session. If you live elsewhere, or are out of state on the day, that session cannot go ahead.

If you’re looking for sessions in person, I’m currently holding virtual sessions only.

Sessions are planned ahead, and requests aren’t checked around the clock, so this isn’t the right place to start if you’re in crisis. The crisis page lists who to call right now.

And it’s completely fine if we decide together that I’m not the right fit — I’m happy to help point you toward other resources if that’s the case.

Approach and style

My approach is warm and calm. Together, we’ll figure out what you really need — and want — and what you can let go of.

I’m trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which I’ll use to bring light to what’s actually happening and what you’re thinking and feeling, and determine next steps. And I bring a systemic and liberation focused lens, meaning I’ll acknowledge the systems that got you where you are and together we’ll determine what it’s possible to do individually within those systems.

Mindfulness and self-compassion are part of how we’ll work together, too — you’ll walk away with concrete tools for calming your system and softening how you talk to yourself.
